Founder and Owner of The Finest Jousting Knights Steve Mallett has been involved in the film, TV and events industry working with the best stunt coordinators for over 20 years. He started riding Spanish horses and went on to take part in many Spanish riding exhibitions for County shows throughout the UK. He was performing jousting stunts shows for many years before being involved in historical reconstruction jousting in 2000.

 

With his extensive knowledge in classical riding and the stunt industry he quickly became one of the foremost trainers, organisers and creative directors of historical jousting internationally. Steve was a pioneer in the very first solid lance joust using real historical lances for English Heritage in 2008, this was the first time that this has been performed for 100's of years. He has competed in many international tournaments and has accumulated many contacts of international jousters.
